Das Convento ist ein sehr schöner Ort zum Entspannen. Die Ausstattung ist besonders, der Blick über die Dächer Olhaos unglaublich. Das Frühstück war lecker mit vielen Früchten, selbst gemachten Marmeladen und täglich wechselndem Kuchen. Die Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zu den Markthallen und den Fähren ist großartig. Antje und Guillaume sind freundliche und zugewandte Gastgeber, die das Haus liebevoll gestaltet haben und führen. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage!

Loved our stay here. Charming town and the hotel was better than we hoped for. Calm relaxed vibe, very helpful and friendly hosts and staff. Stayed in the room at the top.. lovely and light. Enjoyed our breakfasts at the refectory table with other guests, easy way to share tips on what to do and where to enjoy.. and take time to enjoy the breakfast feast of fresh fruits, hams, cheese, omelette.. it’s all on offer!

Das Convento in Olhão ist wirklich traumhaft schön! Man fühlt sich wie in einem Märchen aus Tausend und einer Nacht. Das ganze Haus wurde sorgfältig und mit sehr viel Sachverstand umgebaut und zeigt die Handschrift eines seriösen Architekten und Designers. Zudem sind die Gastgeber äusserst zuvorkommend und helfen wo sie können. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und jeden Tag abwechslungsreich gestaltet. Wir waren eine ganze Woche im Convento und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Eigentlich sollte es ein Geheimtipp bleiben, darum werden wir es nur unseren besten Freunden weiter empfehlen. Aber besuchen dürfen es natürlich alle und auch wir kommen sich wieder!

A estadia no convento foi maravilhosa! Desde o edificio ser absolutamente fantástico, uma pessoa sente-se em casa desde o momento que entra neste espaço fantástico. Tudo é excelente, o gosto dos detalhes, a simpatia e simplicidade dos donos e pessoal do hotel, o pequeno almoço sempre diferente, delicioso e com produtos locais. Recomendo a 100%.

Der Aufenthalt im Convento war sehr schön. Das Haus ist stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Zimmer, auch die Gemeinschaftsräume und das kleine Schwimmbecken sind sehr sauber. Die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse über den Hafen und die Stadt ist spektakulär. Die Lage der Unterkunft könnte nicht besser sein. Alles ist zu Fuss erreichbar, der Markt, die Anlagestelle der Fähren, die Restaurants und die Uferpromenade. Ganz in der Nähe kann auch das Auto kostenlos parkiert werden. Vally macht ein wunderbares Frühstück und ist sehr um das Wohl der Gäste besorgt.

Convento is a Diamond behind unspectacular Walls. The breakfast is excellent, the rooftop a place to calm down and feel peaceful. The Family of convento did their best to give us days of Joy and pure Energy.

Exceptional place to stay with attentive and thoughtful hosts who made sure everything worked perfectly. It was quiet and relaxing in the middle on an interesting town. We received excellent recommendations for food and entertainment. All transports services we arranged through the hotel were on time and cost effective. The place itself is beautiful with relaxing little nooks. Genuinely lovely with lots of character, the building is delightfully designed, we felt at home.

Convento was a magic moment in our trip in Algarve. Every thing was perfect from the beautiful room and terrassa to the delicious homemade breakfust. Our hosts and the staff were very nice. Evry thing is made to feel good. The design and decoration is of very good taste. Strongly recommanded !

Convento is a sublime place to stay and relax. Breakfast is healthy and excellent. Rooms are enchanting. The rooftop + view + pool makes you wonder: “Do we have to go to the beach?” Last but not least, hospitality and kindness by the Staff and the lovely Antje and Guillaume. 10/10

Beautiful hotel. We particularly enjoyed the delicious homemade breakfasts and peaceful roof terrace. There were some disturbances from building works outside our ground floor room but apart from that it was a lovely stay.

It was fairly difficult to locate ... due to a 3-day music festival on Olhao's harbor front and main thoroughfare, it was necessary that we parked our auto 3-4 blocks away from the hotel ... a bit of an inconvenience, but manageable ... we were met by the owner, Phillipe, and given a tour of the facilities ... charming and wonderful man ... rooms are neat and comfortable ... open windows for ventilation with an overhead fan ... very comfortable with breeze, even in August ... however, the amplified music emanating from the festival less than a block from the hotel, lasted until 1:30am ... thankfully, there was enough activity for us during the three days spent in the Algarve that sleeping was not a problem ... the breakfast each day was marvelous and conversation with the other guest was always worthwhile ... especially enjoyed the sunset from the rooftop lounge ... fantastic place!

We stayed for three nights with our grown- up sons. Warm welcome, beautiful harmonious building, tranquility, large rooms, great breakfast and easy and generous help yourself facilities and very personal spirit. Enjoyed the authentic unspoiled atmosphere in Olhao.

Diese Unterkunft ist ein wirklicher "Secret-Place". Wir fühlten uns bereits ab der abgeschlossenen Buchung sehr willkommen. Vor Antritt unseres Aufenthalts kontaktierten uns die Gastgeber und versuchten den Aufenthalt unseren persönlichen Wünschen anzupassen. Die Unterkunft sowie die Betreuung sind schwer zu beschreiben. Mein Rat: Selbst erleben und in vollen Zügen genießen. Wir tauchten Dank der herzlichen Gastgeber in eine idyllische Behausung ein, in welcher wir uns sehr wohlfühlten. - Wir kommen gerne wieder!

'for people who find luxury in the simple things'... is what they say on the website and I couldn't agree more. I just kept finding new places to sit and read and feel like I was in paradise. Everything from the contrasting crystal chandeliers to the fresh fruit at breakfast and homemade tea and cake available all day was perfect. Luis really has an attention to detail. Will definitely be back!

The place is fantastic, very beautiful and calm, very well decorated, clean, all the staff is very nice and friendly and support us in everything we asked. The only recommendation that I have are regarding the fact that the room was very hot and doesn't have air conditionate, who made the nights very tuff. Besides this I would recommend it.
