Riyad Al Moussika

Bereits im Vorfeld wurde uns gesagt, dass allein die Aussicht auf ein Treffen mit Giovanni, dem wunderbaren Besitzer des Riyad Al Moussika, eine Reise nach Marrakesch wert sei. So groß ist seine Gastfreundschaft, seine "nichts ist unmöglich" Mentalität, sein Talent, Geschichten zu erzählen, dass er seine Gäste im Sturm erobert. Natürlich, es gibt es noch mehr Argumente, warum wir den Riyad Al Moussika zu den Secret Places von viel Marrakesch zählen. Von Giovanni einmal ganz abgesehen wäre da zum Beispiel das Gebäude selbst, in dem einst der Pascha von Marrakesch residierte. Inzwischen wurde der Riyad kunstfertig renoviert, und zwar unter strengster Beachtung seiner maurischen Grundzüge. Moderne Accessoires wurden diskret eingebaut. Das Resultat: Höchster Komfort in einem sinnlichen Ambiente. Im alten Teil der Medina gelegen, ist es vom Riyad Al Moussika zum bekannten Jemâa El Fna Platz, Dreh- und Angelpunkt des Stadtzentrums und Anziehungspunkt für Händler, Artisten und Touristen, nicht weit. Mit dem Auto gelangt man recht nah an einen der drei Eingänge des Riyads, sogar ein Platz zum Parken findet sich – im diesen Teil der Stadt ein seltener Luxus. Neben dem Garten befindet sich ein wunderschöner Innenhof mit einem kunstvoll verzierten Wandbrunnen, einem schwarz-weiß gefliesten Marmorboden mit einem zentralen Mosaikelement, auf dem, umsäumt von Orangenbäumen, ein weißer Brunnen aus Caccara-Marmor steht. Auf einer Seite schließt sich eine Loggia an, dahinter ein Speisesaal mit Kamin, weißen Marmorboden, einer bemalten Zedernholzdecke, zeitgenössische Bilder und einem langen Esstisch aus Zedernholz, an dem 12 Personen leicht Platz finden. Auf der anderen Seite liegt der opulente Empfangssaal, wo eine bunte Kombination von Sofas, Kissen, Teppichen, niedriger Tische und Stühle für den typisch orientalischen Flair sorgen. Sogar ein traditionelles Dampfbad gibt es hier; auf Wunsch steht Ihnen ein diplomierter Masseur zur Verfügung. Es versteht sich von selbst, dass auch die sechs Gästezimmer luxuriös ausgestattet sind. Von der maßgeschneiderten orthopädischen Matratze bis zum Laken aus reinem Ägyptischen Baumwollsatin ist jedes Detail von erlesener Qualität. So könnten wir weiter fortfahren, die Vorzüge des Riyad Al Moussika aufzuzählen, aber schließlich wollen wir nicht alles vorweg nehmen. Also nichts wie hin!
