Crossing Condotti

The greatest imperial city of them all and a location by the Spanish steps to die for. Does that make the Crossing Condotti a pompous or snotty hotel? Not at all. Quite the opposite.

In fact, Crossing Condotti is not really a hotel in the classic sense at all. Basically, it is a private residence with five gorgeous rooms offering a dose of hospitality with contemporary comfort. There is no room service, for example, you are provided with your own keys and reception is open during the day only.

There’s also no breakfast at the Crossing Condotti but a Nespresso machine and kitchenette is available. But notwithstanding this lack of standard hotel fare, there’s no denying the luxurious but light of touch decoration in each room.

This includes original wooden ceilings and a wide range of the owner’s own private collection of paintings, prints and antique furniture.

So what’s the upshot of this all? What you get is a really wonderful downtown house in the true sense of the word, your own private residence and the privacy and freedom that brings, so to speak. And when we say downtown Rome, we mean downtown Rome, bordered by countless restaurants, bars and shops and, if we haven’t mentioned it already, the Spanish Steps

Please note: As reception is open only during the day, guests are required to inform of arrivals later than 18:30
