Nestling on a small hill between Pietrasanta and Camaiore, Locanda al Colle proposes peace and privacy in a completely charming setting.

This ancient rustic building lies between the famous Via Francigena and the sea. Within the house the old is combined with the new pretty much to perfection, and exterior and interior spaces combine with an immaculate eye for detail. There is no standard setting here as theobjects displayed in each room are a mix of one-off pieces mixed with purchases from trips around the world.

The result is a warm atmosphere encompassing comfort and privacy. Protected by the surrounding olive grove, Locanda al Colle looks out towards the sea and the hills of Camaiore: from the panoramic terrace it is possible to enjoy unforgettable sunsets . Thanks to the mild climate that characterises this area, the Guesthouse is an ideal place to enjoy peace and sunshine from Easter to October, offering the opportunity to relax immersed in nature. All rooms have private bathrooms. Breakfast is made with appetising local produce and is served on the panoramic terrace surrounded by antique terracotta pots overflowing with flowers. Access to the sandy beach is only ten minutes drive through the countryside.

The nearest airport is Pisa only 30 minutes by car. Nearby Pietrasanta with its art galleries offers the opportunity to discover the latest trends in both the Italian and international art markets.

Thanks to the fortunate location of the house towns such as Lucca , Florence and Siena, rich with Renaissance art treasures, are easy to visit in a single day, by car or train. The same applies to the marble quarries of Carrara which have made this area famous since the times of Michelangelo.

Cinque Terre and Portovenere are 90 minutes away by car. Mountain bike hire, relaxing massages and beach bookings are available on request.
