Borgo la Pietraia Country House

We have to thank the Scariati family for the wonderful Borgo de la Pietraia.

Set in pristine wilderness on top of a hill, it encompasses a whole panoply of colours: from the vibrant greens and reds of the stine and brickwork of the house itself to the more gentle reds and blues of the sea and sunset.

It is a little corner of paradise, really, comfortably situated between the mountains and the ocean - and perfectly integrated in such a scenario.

Borgo de la Pietraia also reflects the history and ancient stone of the area but it also uses sophisticated materials and those bold vibrant colours we’ve already mentioned.

All in all, there are 12 rooms at the disposal of guests, including one suite, and all are equipped with every modern comfort and exclusive design items. We're suckers for when history and design meet together in good taste and this is the case here.

Every single room has captivating views of the majestic valley of the Temples of Paestum and on clear days you can even see the elegant silhouette of Capri.

Gastronomy wise, do try the Locanda del Borgo. Open every night, it offers a variety of seafood and typical meat dishes of the region. Like the Borgo de la Pietraia itself it is characterised by quality and creativity.
